What is the Order of Phoenix?
In the book series Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling, they are the group of wizards who unite to fight Lord Voldemort. They are first introduced in Book V, Harry Potter and the Order of Phoenix, hence the name. For more about the Order of Phoenix, check the info page.
Why I chose them (which was bound to be your next question) is because, first of all, I love the Harry Potter books, and I thought the Order of Phoenix is a magnificent group. It has all the best people in it and they are all fighting for a good cause, what more could you want?
What is a fanlisting?
It is almost like a club in a way. The objective of a fanlisting is to bring all the "fans" of that certain subject together into one giant "listing". This particular fanliting is focused on the Order of Phoenix and the people in it from the Harry Potter books.

Site Background
Obviously, this site is a fanlisting for the Order of the Phoenix. It's name is where the Order of Phoenix's headquarters are located as of book V in the Harry Pottr series. (12 also happens to be my favorite number). I made the site because I am one of the many people obssessed with Harry Poter. I was also fasciated with the Order when I read about it in HPOotP.
I first began this site on June 23rd. It has steadily grown since.
